About OpMath

Background

OpMath people have backgrounds in scientific research, academic education, commercial information technology analysis, and commercial software and systems development. The organisation's key open source software product - the OpMath Utilities Framework - has been in use, and under continuous development, since 1999.

Balancing Software and Human Skills

OpMath develops software according to the open source model: all of its software products are fully open for inspection and further development by others. All OpMath software offerings can be downloaded free of charge, according to the GNU Lesser General Public License - this allows for the incorporation of OpMath software into proprietary third-party software.

OpMath is currently developing educational resources and commercial consulting packages, alongside its commercial-grade, open source software. Watch this space.
