A simple email client (send only).

Component Overview.

A simple email client.

The client has a simple API, allowing the composition of email messages (including MIME attachments). Unlike the alternative OpMath Mail Client package which incorporates a multi-threaded queuing and dispatching system, this mail client sends messages directly. This component requires:

• The OpMath Utilities 1.0 (or greater) component.
• The Apache Jakarta Tomcat 4.0 (or greater) library.
• The JavaMail API 1.2 (or greater). Note that this is provided in the Tomcat common/lib/mail.jar.
• The JavaBeans Activation Framework (JAF) 1.0.1 or greater.
• The Java 2 Standard Edition J2SE 1.4 (or greater).
