Packages

com.opmath.util.datastruct	A variety of abstact data structures, suitable for use with any Open Math component or software accessory project.
com.opmath.util.db	A number of utility classes concerned with access to JDBC data sources.
com.opmath.util.dmldoc	The DMLDoc SGML template handling classes.
com.opmath.util.html	HTML form handling utilities.
com.opmath.util.http	HTTP parameter handling and other HttpServlet request and session handling utilities.
com.opmath.util.time	General-purpose timing facilities, intended for use in performance measurements of any OpMath class.

Project Overview.

The Open Math Utilities project is an attempt to factor out common code from OpMath components and other programming accessories. Three factors come into play in the structure and content of this project.

• Minimum redundancy and duplication of code in client OpMath projects.
• Maximum reusability of the Utilities classes.
• Minimum dependence by the Utilities classes on external libraries.

The Utilities project requires:

• The Java 2 Standard Edition J2SE 1.3 (or greater).
• The Apache Jakarta Tomcat 4.0 (or greater) library.
