Web Reporter Component

Outline

The reporter component serves several functions: it is the simplest component in the catalogue and is therefore an exemplar for OpMath component structure and installation. Secondly, it acts as an ad hoc test for some of the OpMath infrastructure functionality. Finally, the reporter servlets can guide the development of applications that make use of OpMath Infrastructure and components.

Note that, currently, this component only contains a Web request servlet reporter. Further servlets to be added shortly, covering database connectivity.

A first release is available now.

The current version of this component is 1.0.

Dependencies

Open Math Utilities 1.0 (or greater).

Apache Jakarta Tomcat 4.0.3 (or greater), or equivalent application server supporting the Java Servlet 2.3 specification.

Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition J2SE 1.4.
