Example Web Applications

Web Applications

The example applications demonstrate the best use of the Open Math Utilities Foundation, together with effective Java Servlet method and data structures. Each example application is available as a source distribution. All have JavaDocs - these are available on line, and as a downloadable jar file. Each example contains links to appropriate resources.

Simple DMLDoc Example

Makes use of the OpMath Utilities Foundation's common facilities for Java Servlets, including request handling and the DMLDoc Web reporting framework. It does not make use of any back-end processing facilities such as databases or component managers.

JDBC Example

As with the simple DMLDoc example, this makes use of the OpMath Utilities Foundation's common facilities for Java Servlets, including request handling and the DMLDoc Web reporting framework. The application requires a JDBC database connection, and includes all the required table management utility methods.

J2EE Example

Similar to the above examples, and includes a small number of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs), including Session EJBs and Container-Managed Persistence (CMP) EJBs.
